Happy New Year!

Good afternoon Parents,

Happy New Year to those I haven't had a chance to see so far this year. I hope you have all had a pleasant break. It was lovely to see all the children back. The children were certainly excited to see each other and share some of the things they did over the holiday break.

This week has been a great week. We have been settling back into our classroom routines. We have been looking at a map of the world along with learning the sound for the letter L and practising our counting to 10.

Next week we will be planting some seeds to grow some lettuce (hopefully!). If you could please send in an empty 5 litter bottle of water or any unwanted large plastic container that we can use to grow our plants in.

A request also for any unwanted toilet roll tubes or small boxes would be welcome. We like to keep a stock for our role play, crafts and building. Not just now but at any point this year we would be grateful to receive them.

Date reminder:
Tuesday 24th January Sports day. A letter was sent out this week. As we will be having ours here the children do not need to attend school on the 21st January.

Wishing you all a very pleasant weekend
