Weekly Review and Preview Week 10

Dear Parents,

What a busy hot week it has been. This week our theme has been hot air balloons. The children absolutely loved the science experiment where the heat from hot water was able to inflate a balloon and the ice was able to make it flat again. Along with making our own and class hot air balloons we have been learning about the letter U and V, and practising our counting to 18 and working on adding two numbers.

Learning Journey Conferences next week
Thank you for signing up for the learning journey conferences. These will be next week between 10.20 and 11.00 in the Early Years Library.

Parent/Teacher Consultations
A letter went out about this on Wednesday. The meetings will be happening on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th March. Meetings will run between 3.00 - 5.00 pm on both days. The sign-up sheets will be outside the entrance to the Early Years building from Monday. If you require a translator please let us know.

Reminder: Occupation Talk Help
During this and particularly the last week of term we will be looking at different jobs and roles people have. I was wondering if any of you would like to come in and speak to the class about what you do?
You are welcome to speak in Thai for those of you who would prefer not to speak English and keep what you say short and informal. You are welcome to wear a uniform, bring an item to talk about or I have a computer so you could show pictures if that would help.
I am aware KG will be holding theirs on Wednesday 29th March between 10.20 and 11. However if there is enough of you that another time would be better, I am happy to change where possible.

Reminder: Plea
We have a number of art and craft activities coming up where we need some of your unwanted rubbish. If you have any unwanted toilet rolls or tubes, small boxes such as biscuits, cereal, tissue, margarine tubs and bottles please send in. You will be surprised at the quantity we get through! The more the better in my book as we will always use it.

Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week
