writing

This week we were introduced
to 6 camera words (tricky words)I-to-go-no-he-the. We played various games to
help us remember them and we also practiced tracing and writing them.

Next week, we will be reviewing all of the sounds
learned this half term (s-m-t-c-p-g-a-o)

Math
|
This week we learned about
the concept of one more/one less or a lot more/ a little bit less.

Next week, we will be
reviewing 2D shapes.

PSED
|
This week we reviewed
all of the senses learned so far: taste-touch-smell-sight and were introduced
to the sense of hearing. We explored various materials and described the
sounds they each make. We listened to sounds and try to guess what they are.
These were the questions asked by the children throughout the week:
How
do you hear? With your ears? How many ears do you have? Where are they? How
do they look like? Their sizes? Colors? What happens when you hear? Do you
hear inside? Outside your ears? What sounds can you hear? Loud? Quiet? Sharp?

Next week is our
final week on the 5 senses. We will be reviewing all of the senses and
evaluating what we have learned. We will be looking at the connection we have
with our senses: how they each work. We will be looking at their function:
How we use our senses. And finally we will be looking at their responsibility:
Why we care for our senses (why we need our senses).
