Learning Journey Conferences are a wonderful opportunity for you and your child to discuss their progress and what they have explored over the past few months.
Each child is given a book for their year in reception to create a portfolio of their work documenting their learning development. Each book is unique and individualized according to the child’s choice. By creating their own book it gives them a sense of ownership of their own learning. Kru Paan and I have supported the making of the book by helping them choose the artwork they want to have in their book.
For the Learning Journey Conferences we ask that you go through the pictures and pieces of work with your child and ask them what they remember. We added photographs and comments for each work to describe your child’s learning processes based on their description and use of words. For the photographs we have left empty comment boxes for you to write and comment if you wish.
Please feel free to ask for help if anything is unclear.
