writing

This
week, we reviewed sounds
and camera words and focus on the sound ‘ff’. We introduced simple words
based on the story ‘the Red little riding hood’. ‘And I puff and Huff and I’ll blow your house down.’

Next
week, we will focusing on 2 new camera words and review tricky letter sounds.
We will keep on practicing blending and focus on the sounds ‘zz’.

Math

This
week, we worked on problem solving through simple hands on activities.
|
Next
week, we will be learning words to describe the ‘capacity’ in objects such as
the words: full, half full, empty. And review heights: tall, short, narrow,
wide.

Inquiry
|
This
week, we learned about the life cycle of a chicken.
|
Next week, we will
be revising the life cycle of a chicken and introduce the life cycle of a
cat.
