'Respect'

I value peace when I respect myself and others

But what is respect ?

To understand respect we first created a mind map to see how much we knew about 'respect'. Then we deepen our understanding by looking the sesame street video 'respect' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOzrAK4gOSo.

We looked at pictures of respect and disrespect and made a collage of pictures in a group. We had to collaborate and work together to decide which picture to glue on our lantern.

Through the book I don't care we learned about situations that we don't know see respect but disrespect. Through discussion we learned ways to solve problems by 
listening to each other
taking turns
helping others

treating others with kindness



We then role played different scenarios with finger puppets to help us understand how to treat other with respect
