writing
|
This week we blended 3
letter sound words (CVC) and focus on the letter sound ‘Ll’ and ‘Rr’. We
continued sounding all the letter sounds of unit 2: d b r l f h I u.

Next week we will continue working all the letter
sounds of unit 2 and blending new CVC words. We will focus on the letter ‘Ii’
and ‘Uu’.

Math
|
This week, we focused on the
concept of one to one correspondence by playing various games estimating
amounts of objects and matching each amount to the correct numbers from
1-10/20.
|
Next week, we will be working
on one more / one less.

PSED
|
This week we talked
about line drawing. Each lesson focused on a specific type of line:
lesson 1: horizon
and vertical lines
lesson 2: spirals
lesson 3: curls
lesson 4: zigzags
If you wish to
provide more support at home I have posted some activities you may try at
home.
|
Next week, we will
be focusing on ‘painting’. We will be experimenting with various technique
such as painting with straw, watercolor, color mixing, ‘spinner painting’ using
a salad spinner, and butterfly painting by folding a piece of paper with
paint and creating a symmetrical print.
