Phonics
writing
This week, we revised :
 6 camera words:
 I-go-to-the-he-no

writing: 
we wrote what peace meant to us.
Next Monday, We will revise our understanding on peace and I will begin completing the rubrics to assess everyone’s individual knowledge on peace.

Then on Tuesday, we will begin preparing for our tea party happening this coming Thursday!
We will decorate our party hats, cups, straws, picture frame, and many other fun and festive activities to begin celebrating the end of the year!
Maths
This week, we focused on problem solving by using our listening and counting skills and practice using positional language.
Inquiry
This week, we finished our cycle of inquiry by reviewing all the concepts discussed over these past 8 weeks :
What is peace to you?
Peace is showing kindness.

Updated Learner Journal , Thai & English Report: please collect them and sign off with your child’s teacher or TA.

Summer activity: Next week, I will post on our class blog a range of activities and websites with activities to do with your child over the holiday to help them prepare for year 1.
