Weekly Update

Friday 13th January 2017

Good afternoon Parents,

We have had a great first full week back at school. We have been learning the sound for the letter M, counting to 11, and my favourite bit planting seeds. Many thanks to those of you who sent in plastic bottles. We have also had a lot of fun with our Africa theme this week. We have been dancing to African music as well as making African necklaces and masks.

Our theme for next week will be sports and health. With our sports day being held on Tuesday 24th January, starting at 8 am. We will be learning about the letter n, the number 12 and planting and watching seeds start to grow.

Next week only we will have PE on Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately it has had to be moved as Mr John will not be available Tuesday.

Also just a reminder about Library books. If you could please try and return them each week. This week we had a few upset children, who wanted to take home a book and unfortunately couldn't as they had not returned the previous one! Many thanks for your help with this.

I wish you all a very pleasant weekend.
